It’s been 2 months I haven’t posted my blog. But this blog will reflect how far God has brought me in these two months.

In my previous blog, I have shared how God has put the thought of starting the proclamation in making the disciples for Christ in the campus of OSU. God has done wonderful things in the last two months. As I previously said that, it was me, Anthony, and Theresa who were going to the campus everyday reaching out to the students in sharing the gospel. After few days into the proclamation, devil started to attack the group of us by parting us in our own ways with our personal problems. Theresa had to start focusing more on her jobs and colleges to get into the education. That totally made a huge impact on me and Anthony. Because we need some help with the Chinese people because of the language barrier. But that didn’t stop our passion to reach out to the students. I prayed to God to send us more partners who are willing to reach out to the students on daily basis.

This is the most interesting part. Rich, our executive director wanting to partner with the Campus Cru member Grant Lemons for a long time but that didn’t workout for him. But here is where God did something amazing. We met one of the member of the campus cru in the booth which was sitting in the campus. We asked for Grant lemons and they gave us his contact information. After praying, we called him and shared our passion and what we are looking to achieve through this proclamation. Grant lemons was so thrilled to hear of what we are doing and we had set an appointment to meet up with him in the campus. We met and talked about how God is using us in the campus to share His light in the midst of the darkness. And we asked Grant, if he is willing to partner with us in doing this. God did the impossible, possible here. And that it, Grant Lemons, without hesitating, he was so thrilled to join our group in sharing the gospel with the students. After hearing this, Rich felt so happy to see Grant Lemons partnering with the IFI. And We started this proclamation with two and as the days passed, the group was enlarged to 7 people with in the span of 2 months. People from different organizations like young life, campus cru, and people from other churches coming out with us to reach out to the students in the campus.

I know for sure, we have reached out to hundreds of students. But as we are taking note of everything that we are doing and the people that we are reaching out to, people who really showed interest two have a one on one discipleship or people who wanted to learn more about God and the bible, and people who wanted to join in the bible groups were around 40-50 students. That’s one of the greatest encouraging things that God has done in these two months.

And in the month of March I went onto go to DC trip with couple of students from Columbus and Cleveland. It was a great time for me getting engaged with the new students and also with the host family. Many Museums and many other historical placed to look at. But one thing that stand out to me was the people that I get to spend time with. It was such a great experience for me listening to the lives of the people. And the mutual respect that everyone shared while celebrating Christ as the center of our trip. We also got to spend some time with the students after we returned back from our trip at the time of our re-union to see how is everyone doing. This opportunity gave me a chance to share His goodness to the people.

After everything is looking good for me, I went and hit the rock bottom at the time of my job-evaluation. I was hoping that, the authority of the IFI would be so impressed with the work that God has done through me in the last 2-3 months. Because this meeting is the deciding point for me if I had to stay in the States or not after  I finish my internship with IFI. But eventually it didn’t end up the way I was hoping to. The work that I did and the responsibilities of the job description don’t align. So, the authority had to put me in observation for another month to see where I stand with IFI.

Later on by the end of the month, it was such a short notice for me that I had to come to this  INVEST retreat on behalf of Columbus IFI because the people from Dayton needs my help in reaching out to the students. Even at that depressing time frame, I didn’t think what will happen next. I only thought how can I be useful for God at that time. So, I accepted the call and went there. It was such an amazing time for me to spend time with many people from different ethnic groups. I got to be a part of the worship team and then leading the bible group in that weekend. God has done some wonderful things in the lives of the people.

My next job evaluation is going to be in few days. I realized that instead of focusing what will I be doing for full-time, no matter what my prayer is that I can stay in His love and walk in line with His heart and will faithfully everyday and focusing on building a close relationship with the Father which is going to be the key to my life.
