We may display internet-based ads to you when you are using Facebook through tools offered by Facebook called Custom Audiences and Facebook Pixel.

Facebook Custom Audiences allows us to deliver advertisements to website visitors on Facebook based on email addresses that we have collected. The tool lets us convert your email address to a unique number that Facebook uses to match to unique numbers Facebook generates from email addresses of its users.

A Facebook pixel is a tiny piece of javascript code that we have incorporated on some of our web pages. This piece of code allows us to personalize our ads based on your past interaction with us through data we collect while you are on our website. The collected data remains anonymous. This means that we cannot see the personal data of any individual user using the Facebook pixel, however, the pixel does track and send hashed data to Facebook that allows us to address users on Facebook’s social network for marketing purposes using Facebook ads. IFI can only advertise to website customer target groups. This makes it impossible for IFI to discover the identity of individual visitors.

You should also be aware that (a) third parties, including Facebook, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from your activity on IFI’s website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads, and (b) users can opt-out of the collection and use of information for ad targeting.
