A couple of weeks ago, I was going through a tough time and it was very difficult for me, a time where I did not know what to do. I was so sad, exhausted, and afraid. As you know when you are going through something difficult the devil is always there to keep you busy with so many thoughts, ideas to make you feel unworthy. That’s how I was feeling and I did not know what to do in that situation even though I knew that God is great still my heart was so heavy and my mouth so dry.
I then decided to sit down and just meditate on few things and God reminded me one of the words I usually use when I pray ” Lord I will praise you in the midst of the storm, I will give thanks to you in every situation, whether it’s failure or success, whether it hurts or not I will still praise you” these words came to me and then God told me what are you doing now? And then I looked at myself complaining, not praying neither giving thanks to him, and then I was like how am I suppose to thank you in this matter? Then the verse came in my mind that says give thanks in every circumstance. And the voice telling me look at you, you can breath, you have every organ, all your limbs works and so many stuffs and then the voice told me what else do I need to have to praise him? I then came to realize that I have more than enough to be thankful for and even in this storm God is here talking with me.
Though I was going in pain I chose to praise him and glorify him for he is able to turn mourning into dancing, failure into success, graves into gardens. No matter what you are going through learn to praise him in the midst of it for he is with you in that storm and he is just waiting for you to just call up his name and let him be the center of everything.
EVEN WHEN IT HURT I WILL STILL PRAISE YOU.
