“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Matthew 14:29

Reluctantly, it is my end of my ten months’ training in ISEED program. Lord did not allow me to stay at my comfort zone at OSU but sent me out to Pittsburgh. After first season of excitement, I feel little puzzled. Too many things waiting for me to settle down: transfer my I20 form, get familiar using new university systems, housing, etc. Because seemingly bright and easy next step, I sometimes feel I did not need God to step in and help. I can handle all other stuff by myself. However, at end I figured out I still not making any progresses on those areas, because of procrastination, maybe even more, fear. The verse about Peter following Jesus walking on water came to my mind. In bible, there is only half sentence saying, “Peter got out of the boat”. I can imagine how struggle Peter was and made the decision to get out of the boat in such a big storm. But, if he did not get out from the boat, he could never walk on water and hold Jesus’s hand when he almost failed. Now, it is the time for me to get out of my boat, step on water and meet Jesus.

This Memorial Day, all Iseeders went to the Ark and creation museum in Kentucky. I was stroked by the 4D small movie talked about God created the world in six days. Vivid model showed in creation museum gave me different visual experiences to see the bible. I was also the first time I have ever seen a real ark. It was so wonderful built, and I learned more details about how the food, water, and other systems inside ark works, while bible only have a few sentences stated the outside size of the ark. After the trip, we also discuss our thoughts on the trip. I feel the two places are really good for seekers to visit. The ark gave me more knowledges about the famous ark. Though I was tired to visit two places in one day, it was worth.

For end of my ISEED program prayer request:

Keep staying in God’s presence and be patience when I’m in seasons that does not yield obvious fruits.
