On the Cold day, warn feeling in our heart.
Oct 13 is the day for the hocking hill trip. We were waiting for more students to come on the windy chill morning. Many students decided not to come due to the weather. I saw some familiar faces two visiting scholars. I was driving them to apple picking before. I was pretty nervous because I just started to drive not long ago. So we didn’t have much conversation at that time.
On the way to the hocking hill, I wish I have a chance to share Gospel to them and I were waiting for opportunities. Unexpectedly, one of the scholars told me that someone has asked her what do you think how does your watch from. She said watchmaker made this. Then the person told her the world is also made by God like this watch. It won’t somehow magically appear. After she shared the story, a preaching video came to my mind, the pastor said if we gather all the materials of building a house and we keep stirring and spinning them. How big the chance that we can a good house by doing this. The earth could make like this is a much lower chance than doing this thing. I told her this story, she was really surprised. she never thought the earth is such an amazing creation. And she asked me more things about the Bible. We couldn’t stop the discussion but the other scholar was sleepy. So we decided to take a rest and I think she can have some time to digest what we were talking.
Before we set off, I thought we probably don’t have chances to talk about Gospel just like last time apple picking. We may just talk about our daily life. Praise God He gave us a very good conversation during the trip. I feel I have a closer relationship with them during this trip. On the Cold day, the close relationship made our heart warn. They told me that if they go back to China they must tell other new visiting scholars to make contact with IFI. IFI is a great org and really helped them a lot.
