God listens to our prayers and provides needs in His timing.
First of all, I would like to thank Hickey Family Giovanna & Brian. They donated their car to me.
On August 21 I received the offer from Charley’s Philly Steak. The work starting date will be Sep 10. I quickly noticed the problem how can I get to Charley’s office after I finish the morning discipleship class in IFI.
Charles works in downtown which is the total opposite side from mine. If he is going to take me to Charley’s Philly Steak office and back to his working place will take 40 minutes driving. We only have almost an hour to have lunch and driving to our working places. It seems really difficult for us to do like this way. I told Phil about my concern. Phil decided to pray immediately. He and other staffs started to pray for my working transportation problem.
We can pray for our needs to God, everything. But, I don’t really pray for physical or earthly things. The Bible said, ” But let your first care be for his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be given to you in addition.”(Matthew 6:33) But I want to try to rely on God and to experience His work this time and see how He will help me. Not only for the spiritual need but also the living need. “See the birds of heaven; they do not put seeds in the earth, they do not get in grain, or put it in store-houses, and your Father in heaven gives them food. Are you not of much more value than they?”(Matthew 6:26) I do believe God wants me to work in Charles’s and he provides this job for me. He will certainly help me. But I don’t know how He is going to work. Maybe someone could take me to work office by carpooling I think. 4 days after we prayed together, On 8/25 Rich called me and said someone would like to give me a car. I was so surprised God really listened and He replied to me. During that 4 days, I was kind of concerned but also excited to see God’s work. He is so real and provides me the very practical way that can help me to work. He watches over me not only the spiritual need but also provide for my living. He is so amazing he can make all things work together. Praise God, sometimes the things seem to be no way out but God’s way is always greater than us.
I used to feel God is so far away from me. Now I really experienced His love. He loves us so much and wants to have the relationship with everyone single one of us. God is willing to help his children with all kinds of requests and issues that we face to.
I love the Lord, for the hearing my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
Additionally, I would like to thank Nancy Baier. She was very kind to introduce jobs and took me to one company’s conference. I thank you all IFI staff you all work together to make the ISEED program happen.
