“For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:2
God does not always tell me what’s my life will be. Before I came to Columbus OH, I had lots of unknown things. How can I live in a totally new place? How to work as an ISEED intern? How can I find church and Bible-study group? How can I make friends? How…… All of these “How” together are like a fog which are unclear and mysterious. I really wish I could know the results God gives to me.
However, God always makes the best way for me. Praise the Lord! Two weeks before I came to Columbus, I found a landlord who had an empty room for me to stay. My friend who is in ISEED helped me with the transformation very well. The first week I came, people in ISEED introduced me many Churches and Bible study groups, I could even have options.
God is providing! Two weeks ago, I met two Chinese students who are from my province. We were playing sports and pool together. Just two days ago, one of them started to ask me questions about God. I was so surprised! God was just not only taking care of me; he also provided a seeker that I can help. I could see how eager he is about knowing God. I paused doing my work that day and tried to answer all his questions as much as I can.
“Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.’” — John 8: 12
Jesus is the light of the world. He is lighting a way for me in my “fog”. Because of Him, no matter how thick the fog I would have in the future, I will not be worried anymore.

Please feel free to enjoy the music I picked and think about how God lights you in your “fog”:
