Tom Miyakawa is the IFI Ministry Leader for the university campuses in Indianapolis. Prior to joining IFI, Tom and his wife Robin and three kids served for 10 years in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where Tom was a math teacher at Grace International School.

Tom was a research scientist in statistics for over 25 years with Eli Lilly and Company and Roche Diabetes Care.  But his life passion is the peoples from all nations and cultures, making connections with internationals and seeking to meet their deepest practical and spiritual needs.

On the side, Tom is a volunteer Airport Chaplain at Indianapolis International Airport. If Tom isn’t chatting up new friends at the airport or in a local coffee shop, you’ll find him on the basketball court.

Tom and Robin have three married children and two grandchildren who live in Michigan, California, and Indianapolis.
