As a former international student who was deeply shaped and discipled through International Student Ministry (ISM), I know firsthand how life-changing it is to be seen, developed, and sent. During my first year as a transfer student from East Asia to UT Austin, I was in a season of cultural transition and purpose-searching. The friendships I formed with believers were refreshing, intentional, and full of grace — ultimately leading me to a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. That journey ignited a vision in me: to walk alongside international students as they grow into equipped and empowered kingdom influencers.
After more than seven years serving international students at The Ohio State University, I now serve as a Cross-Cultural Training Coach, supporting student leaders and ministry teams across the globe. My role includes mentoring ISEED interns (International Students as Equipped and Empowered Disciple-Makers), returnee students, and other international leaders, as well as supporting staff and volunteers through IFI’s national training team. I have the unique privilege of helping bridge cultural and relational gaps between international students and American teammates — fostering shared growth in spiritual maturity, cross-cultural understanding, and leadership capacity.
My heart is to create spaces where students can step confidently into God’s calling with joy, clarity, and cultural humility. I believe international students are not only future leaders, but global kingdom influencers — and they deserve to be seen, developed, and sent. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to invest in the next generation of global leaders for Christ? Together, we can reach the nations until we hear all nations sing.
