After fleeing his country of Sudan to follow Jesus freely in the USA, God called Y.M. to return to his home country of Sudan to serve among internally displaced people (IDP).  God used him to establish 7 churches and 3 Christian schools. The war in Sudan forced him to flee to flee to Egypt with his family where he has again established a ministry to refugees there from Sudan.  He has planted a new church and God gave Y a vision to begin a new school for refugee children. This will create a safe and quality Christian learning environment which will support their educational needs while also fostering a sense of belonging and resilience. He has a few refugee children in his church ready to start. By God’s grace, he recruited four certified Sudanese teachers and he has found a space to rent for the school to begin in October. His hope is to return to Sudan one day after the war ends to be part of rebuilding the churches and schools that have been scattered and destroyed.  There is still school in Sudan that is still functioning and Y is still overseeing.
