Wen immigrated to the U.S. from Asia at an early age with her family and had the opportunity to hear and receive Christ in this country. In 2010, Wen responded to God’s call to leave her corporate job to serve back in Asia. In those years, God led her to train and disciple young leaders for global ministry, and served local churches in Taiwan, India, a neighboring closed country, etc. During that time, God opened the door for Wen to complete her M.Div. to be further equipped for cross-cultural and pastoral ministry.
Wen’s love for internationals began when she was young, as she befriended many in secondary school, college, and early careers in the science and technology fields where her colleagues were graduates from the STEM program. Later ministering in Asia, Wen continued to befriend returned international students. Eventually, God opened her eyes to see the good fruit of graduated international students who Jesus had impacted during their former years of study abroad. It is this vision and strategy that brought Wen to join IFI to continue the work by shepherd-leading IFI’s ministry team at OSU. It has certainly been a privileged journey.
