She began attending IFI in college as a freshman at Wright State University (WSU). It was there that the Lord began a passion in her for sharing the gospel with international students, learning about their cultures and helping them get acclimated to life in the US. She majored in Spanish at WSU and, in addition to serving as associate staff with IFI, works part time as a Spanish medical interpreter in various medical facilities throughout Dayton.
Martha met her husband, Tung, in 2014 who was an international student volunteering with IFI during his undergrad. They serve in IFI together and are currently restoring a house near the University of Dayton with the hopes of welcoming international students to live in community with them.
In order to continue working part time and serving with IFI as associate staff, Martha is looking for financial supporters to be able to reimburse various expenses incurred while serving internationals.
