Volunteer
We welcome you to volunteer the time and talent that God has given you to serve internationals! IFI has a wide variety of opportunities available to you. Complete an application form and attend a new volunteer training session in order to begin your ministry with internationals. Come and join us!
In order to volunteer for most activities, you must fill out an application form AND attend a new volunteer training session.
Please browse our list of volunteer opportunities before you complete the new volunteer application form so that you will be familiar with what the opportunity involves. More information is provided about these opportunities at the New Volunteer Orientation and Cross-Cultural Training Session.
The training will also give an overview of our history, vision, and values. The second half of the session is a cross-cultural training. Topics covered include: culture shock, cross-cultural communication, hospitality, and how to effectively share your faith. You will also have an opportunity to meet an international student and ask him/her questions. This session will help equip you to serve effectively and to be a good friend to internationals! Please complete an application form prior to attending training.
