Special Training- Holiday Meal Hosting
IFI is having a training for current volunteers who have not hosted international students for a holiday meal before. The trainer, Gene Greene, and his wife Phylis have hosted hundreds of students for a holiday meal. He will share practical tips about what to serve, how to make students feel comfortable, and activities to do with students before and/or after the meal. Two trainings are being held.
Saturday, Nov. 5th at 11:00-12 noon at Linworth Baptist, 6200 Linworth Rd., Worthington, 43085
Saturday, Dec. 5th or 10th Location and time TBA
Current volunteers please sign up for the training below. If you are not a current volunteer, please attend a new volunteer orientation before signing up for a special training. Click here for dates of the upcoming new volunteer orientation session(s).
