Meet the Staff - Jason Pinschenat

Although Jason grew up going to church, he didn’t place his faith in Christ until college at Texas State University. He went to the “party school of Texas” for the party, but left college a follower of Christ in 1994! After college, Jason went on some mission trips and did a year long training program at Denton (Texas) Bible Church before joining the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ in 1996. This is where he met his wife, Kristy. They were both placed at the University of Texas, where they served for 2 years and were finally married. They also served at the University of Illinois, where they helped grow their Greek (fraternities and sororities) ministry. In 2001, they moved back to Texas, where Jason started grad school at Dallas Theological Seminary. After receiving his Master of Biblical Studies in 2003, they became pregnant with twins. They moved to Columbus, Ohio in January of 2004 and Jackson and Brynlee were born the next month. After doing a sales job for about a year, Jason joined the staff of International Friendships in February of 2005. He has been serving at the Director of Development since then.

Hobbies: Playing my guitar, writing Scripture memory songs, studying the Bible, working out, playing with my kids and taking walks with Kristy.
