IFI offers English Conversation and Culture Classes for international students on a quarterly basis. The classes last for 6 weeks and an outing is usually planned for one of these weeks. The classes meet on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon on the OSU campus. You don’t need to have special ESL training to be a helper. However, English should be your first language and you need to have attended a New Volunteer Training session and have an approved application form. These classes are an excellent opportunity to meet and start a relationship with a student(s).
